1 persons, 100,000 toothpicks and 35 years

Hobby is something that distracts us from the gray everyday life, tedious work, and constant affairs at home and in general, from a boring stay in this strange and monotonous life.

Scott Weaver is an American, born in 1960 in San Francisco. At the age of eight, he made his first sculpture of toothpicks, and from 1974 he started work on a vast and incredibly complex sculptural composition called Rolling Through the Bay, dedicated to his hometown.

In 2008, Scott finally completed his grand creation, the creation of which took about three thousand hours, and about a hundred thousand toothpicks. Also for the construction layout San Francisco Scott used a toothpick which friends and acquaintances brought him from traveling to Kenya, Morocco, Spain, Germany and Italy. Work on the creation of this masterpiece took 35 years
