“There is no truth in photography. There is no truth about anyone’s person. My portraits are much more about me than they are about the people I photograph. I used to think that it was a collaboration, that it was something that happened as a result of what the subject wanted to project and what the photographer wanted to photograph. I no longer think it is that at all.”
Richard Avedon the name is known to all who is in any way associated with photography. This great photographer like no one else was able to pass in his photos amazing and rare phenomenon, mysterious play of light and shadows, in beautiful black and white. Each of his work is a dialogue with the model viewer, even with himself, who masterfully shows us what it means to take a picture. During his career, Richard Avedon had done portraits of many international celebrities, from Charlie Chaplin to the supermodels of the early 90’s.
