Fifteen amazing pictures by Iris Scott
Artist Iris Scott paints a picture of a complete delight, but she doesn’t do it with a brush or fingers.
She pulls thin latex gloves on her hands , dips her fingers in the paint and then transfers it on to canvas; anything that her imagination tells her. For example, Landscapes, women like nymphs, the city in the rays of the setting sun, the dog in the water spray – all these consist of tens of thousands of smears of the artist’s touch. She works with alternating short and long smears, mixing paint on her hands and then directly on to canvas.
