Invisible forest dwellers
Valeria Zvereva, a geologist by profession in one of her expeditions, almost ten years ago, took few pictures of natural objects in macro mode. Since then, this has become her main hobby.
As she says, the complexity of the macro photographing is to see what most of us just do not notice. She adds that for successful photo hunting isn’t necessary to move far away from civilization, or climb in hard to reach areas. A whole hidden world is around us, just at arm’s length.
As evidence of the author’s words, we invite you to see a selection of photos of slime molds, mushroom typed living organisms. They do not belong to the fungus, or to plants or animals. They are just by themselves in nature.
