Knitted map from the video game “Super Mario Brothers”

Kjetil Nordin, a real fan of Super Mario Bros.3, spent more than 6 years knitting an exact copy of the first map of this video game. On an incredible blanket sized 2,2 x 1,8 meters, the 31-year-old Norwegian, used 100 balls of yarn.

Kjetil even unraveled the rug when he realized that he had chosen the wrong color of the yarn and then began to work all over again. In the last six years this man engaged not only in knitting: Kjetil has won the team championship of parachute jumps twice, got two university degrees and now he’s successfully building a career.
