Located in the Black Hills in Keystone, South Dakota Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a sculpture carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore.
Its build around 1927 – 1941 and the sculptures are the faces of four most important presidents of the United States. Those presidents were: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
It took more than 14 years to create the monument and the cost of that construction was $1 million. Mount Rushmore has become an iconic symbol of the United States, and it attracts over two million people annually.
