Paper Bridge by Steve Messam
PaperBridge is an unique bridge made entirely of paper.
British artist Steve Messam constructed it with 22,000 sheets of bright red paper and 4 tons of stones. It is amazing, but this heavy construction doesn’t have any bolts, screws or adhesives. The weight-bearing of this construction is high, so people can freely stand or walk on it. This bright-colored bridge is contrasted with scenic and natural landscape surrounding.
PaperBridge is located in the Grisedale Valley, near Patterdale, United Kingdom and is part of the Lakes Ignite project.
