Photos of people without their smartphones
Photographer removed phones from the pictures to show how far we are from each other.
In the modern world, electronic gadgets more rob us of communicating with loved ones than give it. A photographer from New York, Eric Pickersgill became seriously interested in this problem.
Once in the cafe he witnessed a family scene: father and two daughters were sitting at the table, buried in their phones, while sad and lonely mother was looking out the window. After that, Eric decided to raise a problem and created a photographic project called «Removed». He photographed people in their everyday life, but “deleted” all the electronics they have.
