The Spanish painter, sculptor, ceramist, printmaker, poet, stage designer, and playwright, Pablo Picasso inspired many modern artists to bring back to life some of his remarkable paintings.

One of them was the Pakistani illustrator, Omar Aqil, who turned 7 of Picasso’s paintings into 3D sculptures. They were digitally rendered and look as if they were physically constructed thanks to Omar’s great eye for textures and shadows. Scroll down and check them out.

The talented American artist Karla Mialynne creates detailed drawn colored plumage of birds or a splash of waves at sunset.

It’s hard to believe that this beauty is painted with the most common materials: colored pencils, sometimes acrylic paint and markers. Photos of these works and the “tools” that were used to create them, she loads up on Instagram. Some of the works are striking; the photographic resemblance! Art is something that everybody understands in his own way, for some of us the nature itself is a masterpiece of art, for others art is something you create by your own.
