It isn’t known when this tradition first started, but a holiday in honor of the patron saint of the Spanish cities of Pamplona and Navarre Saint Fermin attracts thousands of tourists. It is believed that San Fermin is the protector of winemakers and bakers, so that there is no limit to the fun throughout the ten day festival, and the most spectacular part of the celebration is the race including 12 angry bulls running through the streets, every evening throughout the holiday.

Unfortunately not a year passes without injuries and even casualties, but such incidents only fuel the interest of tourists, who wish to test their strength while encountering the bulls. Only a few people cope with the whole distance of the race, and the majority of participants get out of the race beforehand.
