Commonly known as “Dracula’s Castle” this amazing building was the home of the title character in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. There is, however, no evidence that Stoker knew anything about this castle, which has only tangential associations with Vlad III, the putative inspiration for Dracula.

The castle is now a museum which is displaying art and furniture collected by Queen Marie. Scaliger Castle is located in the Italian lakeside town of Sirmione.

Sirmione has a beautiful historic center which is situated on top of a small peninsula that juts out into the southern portion of Lake Garda.

This castle is remarkable by its very rare fortified port and was built in the 13th century. It sure dominates the landscape of the town with a large moat where ducks and swans can be seen today. From the top of the tower, beautiful views of the Lake Garda can be enjoyed.

Today we will represent you nineteenth century Romanesque Revival palace, located on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau in southwest Bavaria, Germany.

This magical castle, called Neuschwanstein was visited by 61 million people from all around the world after the death of king Ludwig in 1886. If you haven’t visited this castle yet, maybe this pictures of its interior will convince you to do that.

Model of Hogwarts castle was built for the first film, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” and has since been used in every movie.

It took 86 artists and 74 other members of the team to build it. Model is 16 meters in diameter. Light effects are changing every 4 minutes a day at night, and in the towers burning torches which create the impression of a residential castle.

Author of this castle, production designer Stuart Craig was awarded the prestigious Bafta for his work.
