Abandoned 10 years ago, the beautiful and creepy Nara Dreamland park in Japan is the perfect place for photographers because sometimes abandoned places like this are more attractive to capture than anything else.

Nara Dreamland was built in 1961 as Japan’s answer to Disneyland, which had opened in California the previous decade. Towards the end of its life the park struggled with low visitor numbers and was eventually forced to close. Now the sweets in the vending machines are no longer safe to eat and the heart-pounding rides are now as still as the fiberglass mascots which haunt the landscape.

This place is a popular destination for urban explorers. Additionally, many have reported hearing strange noises near the park’s boats. Some speculate that it may be caused by a running water pump or a type of bull frog. Would you pack your bags and check where the sound comes from? If you’re an adventurous traveler you would, but if you only want to check this creepy yet amazing park, just scroll down and enjoy!

Located in Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park, the Rainbow Mountains in China attract tourists from all over the World because of their colors that mimic a rainbow painted over the tops of rolling mountains.

This National Park is located in the Gansu province in China’s northwest covering 200 square miles. The site was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009 and is the destination for many Chinese and international tourists.

The Rainbow Mountains were formed by the erosion of red sandstone, forming isolated peaks and steep stratified outcrops. Its special geological structure, combined with long-term desert conditions, freeze-thaw peeling, and wind and water erosion gave rise to its present appearance.

Geologists believe that Danxia topography is formed by folding of layered oceanic crust. Exposed slanting rock layers have different colors, textures, shapes, sizes, and patterns. The combination of differences in density and erosion create towering peaks, cave holes, and stone halls. Scroll down and rest your eyes with rainbow mountains magnificent landscape.

The Nelson Lakes National Park is an enchanting alpine landscape of rugged peaks, forests and stunning glacial lakes.

A compact area of mountain ranges separated by forested valleys, the Nelson Lakes National Park is home to the beginning of the awe-inspiring Southern Alps. Promising everything from easy lakeside walking tracks to challenging alpine hikes, this national park has something on offer for everyone.

The beautiful alpine lakes of Rotoroa and Rotoiti form the heart of this 102,000 hectare national park. Both are surrounded by steep mountains and fringed to the shore by native honeydew beech forests, which feed a variety of tuneful nectar-eating native birds.

The Green Lake is an attraction for tourists around the World because of the Underwater park that catches people attention all the time.

In spring, when the temperature rises and snow melts, the basin of land below the mountains fills with water. The lake reaches its maximum depth of around 12 meters from mid-May to June and is claimed to look the most beautiful at this time. In July, the water begins to recede.

The lake supports a variety of fauna such as snails, water fleas, small crabs, fly larvae, and different species of trout and was popular among divers who could observe the green meadows in the edge zone of the lake particularly in June when the water is at its highest. A bridge and a bench could also be found underwater. Furthermore, trails and trees could also be seen underwater.
