Underwater attractions are one of the most visited places tourist want to see lately and this museum in Cancun, Mexico is one of those places because it’s the world’s largest underwater museum.

Found in the picturesque waters of the Mexican Caribbean, the below-water sculpture museum was a collaboration between artist Jason deCaires Taylor and the National Marine Park. In the 400 meter long Lake Kaindy, believe it or not, there is a underwater forest. The lake is located in Kazakhstan’s portion of the Tian Shan Mountains located 129 km from the city of Almaty.

The lake was created after an earthquake in 1911 that triggered a large landslide blocking the gorge and forming a natural dam. Subsequently, rainwater filled the valley and created the lake.

This lake is famous for its sunken forest and the imposing trunks of spruce trees that rises out of the lake water. Scroll down and see how this nature masterpiece looks like.

Greek philosopher Plato, around 350 years BC, wrote two books for the city of Atlantis, describing it as a magical island.

Prado said people living there were great engineers and architects, and the city was surrounded by palaces, harbors, temples and docks, which he described in details.

Because of that people today, believe that Atlantis really existed. Who would describe something that doesn’t exist and why? It’s believed that the location of this lost city was somewhere in Central America, the China Sea or Africa.

People that explored its existence, found ruins, statues and underground gates supposing that they are remains from the lost city of Atlantis, but we can’t be 100% sure that those remains are from this historical, magical city.

Passage du Gois — a road lined on the bottom of the bay, which connects mainland France with the island Noirmoutier.

Twice a day, after the low tide, it becomes available for a few hours, the rest of the time it is flooded to a level of 4 meters.

The natural transition between the island and the mainland was first marked on the map in 1701. In 1840 there was built the road that allowed to move on horseback and in carts. Now the length of the road is 4.5 kilometers.

Another incredible project from Dubai.

Design of the Water Discus Hotel is created by the Deep Ocean Technology. The building of the hotel composed of two discs, one above the sea level and another — below. Those two are connected by lifts and a stairway. As Deep Ocean Technology indicates, the primary concern in this design is safety. Even the impact of a tsunami is carefully calculated.
