Bioparc Valencia is a small zoo in Valencia, Spain with an area 10-hectares and it has a large collection of African fauna.
The first attempt to build a zoo in Bratislava as a first zoological garden in Slovakia, was made in the first half of the 20th century. However, due to lack of funds, the idea came to life only in the late 1950s, the main building was built in 1959, and the official opening of the zoo was held on May 9th, 1960.
Oddly enough, the authorities of Los Angeles fully owned all rights to the land, facilities, and zoo animals. Los Angeles Zoo have 1,100 animals approximately, and they are located on 113 acres of land.
