The story of how photographers took 32 days to take picture of a tree completely.
This huge tree, known as the President is already 3200 years. The uniqueness of the plant is that its extremely large size for a long time did not allow to fully capture it in single photo. First time the ones who succeeded at this was team of photographers and scientists from National Geographic.
Giant sequoia reaches 75 m in height and 1 275 cubic meters in size. The trunk of the tree is up to 8 m wide, and its mighty branches hold about 2 billion needles – more than any other tree in the world. This giant sequoia grows only in one place – in the Giant Forest, Sequoia National Park, California, USA.
