Back in the 2007 Bob Bruninga, the hybrid car enthusiast from Maryland, has bought the badly rear-ended Toyota Prius. It was a descent deal. $6500 for a 2005 Prius with as little as 19k miles on the odometer. The cars rested for a couple of years in the Bob’s backyard until finally in the 2009 he began to work on it. That’s how this Toyota Prius looks like now:
It was checked by the local State inspector and the mileage is 60MPG which is totally ok for Prius despite the fact that the woodwork on this one—the laminated oak—is at least ten times heavier that the original parts made of lightweight plastic.
