This forest looks like it has emerged straight out of a fairytale. But I can assure you, it is totally real. It exists in our reality. The name is Hallerbos. Location: Belgium. Not far from Brussels.
What makes it look like a fairytale illustration? The main contributor to this magical look is the dense carpet of Bluebell flowers. They bloom in late Spring and early summer coloring the floor of Hallerbos all shades of blue and purple.
During this season the forest becomes the place of pilgrimage for many photographers eager to capture the beauty of the Bluebell flowers.
