To see something new in the mundane things is what makes an artist.
Tobbe Malm is a blacksmith from Oslo, and he is definitely an artist. His Bolt Poetry project consists of a number of metal sculptures depicting intense and overwhelmingly lively scenes using nothing but some old bolts and other scrap metal.
These bolts share a few common features with people yet in the same time we recognize the action, the emotions behind the scene immediately. Tobbe Malm didn’t even titled his works. These sculptures need no title — they speak for themselves.
