This year we celebrated the 50 years anniversary of one of the most famous Alfred Hitchcock’s movies – The Birds. Based on a short story by Daphne Du Maurier, the film was a masterpiece of suspense and horror. I actually started the whole sub-genre of movies about the nature’s quick and unexpected revenge for all the things humanity made during its way to the top of the animal kingdom pyramid.
These awesome photos give us a glimpse on where Daphne Du Maurier found her inspiration. Birds are everywhere. They are flocking. And sometimes their flocks looking plain sinister, just like the scene from the horror movie.
