San-Francisco-based designer Nick Pourfard brilliantly fused two of his passions together: skateboarding and music. For his project Prisma Guitars he builds guitars from reclaimed skateboard decks.
Everything is 100% handmade and totally authentic. Every piece has its own style and design. For each piece Nick usually uses at least four skateboards. For some of them — up to 44! His talents were noticed by some big names in music. Recently, he created a guitar for Steve Harris of Iron Maiden.
A 26-year old New-Yorker, Dotan Negrin, always wanted to be a musician. More than 4 years ago he left his prestigious work in NY and started a road trip around the world with his full-size piano and his adorable dog, Brando.
He visited more than 300 cities in 20 countries of Europe, South and North America. During his travel he played he played the piano and met interesting people. Dotan has an old-fashioned piano without wires, plugs and any screens.
