Takashi Kobayashi has built over 120 treehouses in the past 12 years. He is one of the most famous treehouse creators in the world.

One of his best work, named Kusukusu, is the sprawling house, constructed around a 300-year-old camphor tree in Atami, Japan. It was built in collaboration with Hiroshi Nakamura of NAP Architects for the Risonare Resort. Kusukusu is the largest treehouse in all of Japan. This amazing treehouse was completed in March 2014. It is completely self-standing and doesn’t touch the tree, allowing the tree to grow more.

It isn’t a carpet of pink clouds – it’s the biggest Japanese wisteria (144 years). This plant grows in the flower park of Ashikaga in Japan. Of course, it isn’t the biggest tree in the world, but still, it extends over 1,990 square meters.

You can’t realize it at first sight but actually this tree has a vine structure. There is a possibility that the vines can be very heavy, the whole structure of this plant is kept on the steel supports, that allows visitors to walk under the canopy of pink and purple colors.

25 Verde is an apartment complex in Turin, Italy, designed by Luciano Pia.

This Italian architect has created an unique 5- story building made of of lush trees and steel girders in an attempt to eschew homogeneous urban cityscape of Turin. The structure contains 150 trees, which absorb up to 200,000 liters of carbon dioxide an hour, thus keeping the city’s air cleaner and bring pollution protection to the residents of this amazing house.
