Homeless people are a major problem around the world no one wants to talk about and while being homeless is hard enough as it is, the environment is even worse when pets are involved.

There are approximately 600,000 homeless people only in the USA and 10% of them have pets! While many people think that homeless people shouldn’t have pets, the reality is that many of them have a special bond with their animals, and the benefits go both ways.

Although many shelters don’t allow pets inside, the new organization called Collide started up in the Lower East Side of New York and hopes to provide assistance to both homeless people and their pets, as they understand the special relationship shared by them. Scroll down and take a look at some of the people in the shelters and on the streets together with their best friends!

At night we can not see the sky up above. To show this, French photographer Thierry Cohen, has taken a series of photographs called “Blackout City”, where the largest cities, such as New York, Paris, Tokyo, are sleeping peacefully and are lit only with stars.

In order to take these photographs, he visited nine megalopolises and took pictures of the landscapes’ cities and then went to a deserted place in the same latitude, but shooting photos with a clear sky. So it happened that the sky over Shanghai – is Western Sahara, and Paris was illuminated with stars of Montana.

Mirror Labyrinth consists of mirror-polished stainless steel vertical posts and reflects the surrounding Manhattan landscape. Appearing Rooms features a series of interactive fountains, which appear and disappear as vertical jets of water. Modified Social Benches are 16 twisted and bent red park benches. You can enjoy Please Touch the Art from May 17, 2015 until April 16, 2016.
