Homeless people are a major problem around the world no one wants to talk about and while being homeless is hard enough as it is, the environment is even worse when pets are involved.

There are approximately 600,000 homeless people only in the USA and 10% of them have pets! While many people think that homeless people shouldn’t have pets, the reality is that many of them have a special bond with their animals, and the benefits go both ways.

Although many shelters don’t allow pets inside, the new organization called Collide started up in the Lower East Side of New York and hopes to provide assistance to both homeless people and their pets, as they understand the special relationship shared by them. The Museum Of Bad Art is the World’s only museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its forms. It’s located in Dedham with current branches in Somerville, Brookline, and South Weymouth in Massachusetts.

The museum was founded in 1994, after antique dealer Scott Wilson showed a painting he had recovered from the trash to some friends, who suggested starting a collection.

For more than 20 years, they’ve been dedicated to presenting the best in bad art. The museum bills itself as “the world’s only museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition, and celebration of bad art in all its forms.”
