The artificial Lake Abraham on North Saskatchewan River in Western Alberta, Canada was created in 1972, with the construction of the Bighorn Dam.

This lake is known for its rare phenomenon where bubbles get frozen underneath its surface. People call them frozen air bubbles or ice bubbles and they made Lake Abraham famous among photographers around the World.
